Statia’s Iguana Bumper Sticker

Our ongoing efforts to support St Eustatius National Parks (STENAPA) efforts to remove the invasive Green Iguana and to promote local awareness for the islands Lesser Antillean Iguana (Iguana delicatissima), the IRCF has designed a Bumper Sticker to help prevent roadkill.

The Governor, Mr Julian Woodley

The Governor, Mr Julian Woodley, is the first to show that he is a careful driver and that he gives iguanas a brake with our new bumper sticker! Iguanas cross the road to find food and better nesting sites which means that they are at risk from being run over. This sticker has been developed with International Reptile Conservation Foundation (IRCF) especially for people on Statia. Come and get one of our brand NEW and FREE bumper stickers from the STENAPA team between 11.30am and 12pm on the 19th and 20th of December at the WIB pavillion or Sugartown bus stop. Show that you are a careful driver and slow for crossing iguanas!

Donations can be made on the DONATE PAGE. Any remaining balance of the donations will go to support the EcoPro Team, under the guidance of STENAPA, who are on the ground working to capture hybrids and the invasive Greens. The mission is critical and funding will help expand their efforts.

Please help! Thank You!
